The foundation of Christian belief is centered on Jesus Christ as the Son of God and the work of the Holy Spirit. It includes His death, descent into hell, resurrection, and ascension into heaven.
Also central to the faith are the holiness of the Church, the communion of saints, Christ’s second coming, the Day of Judgment, and the salvation promised to the faithful. Among Jesus’ teachings that Christians continue to follow are these: love God and love your neighbor as yourself; forgive those who wrong you; love your enemies; and seek God’s forgiveness. Jesus, the Messiah, was given authority to forgive sins, and through Him repentance becomes essential for salvation.
A true Christian is someone who follows the teachings of Jesus Christ and models their life after His example. Being a Christian often leads to persecution, yet Christians glorify God through it.
1) ACKNOWLEDGE YOUR SINS.
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
ROMANS 3:23
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
1 JOHN 1:9
Jesus said... "I am the Resurrection and the Life.
He who believes in me will live, even though he dies."
JOHN 11:25
Now that you have taken these steps, it is important to continue in your new faith by finding and attending a Bible-believing church and being baptized as a witness of your new life in Christ.

Everyone wants to enter heaven, but Scripture makes it clear—there is only one way in. The doorway is not wide or easy; Jesus says it is narrow. He urges us, “Make every effort to enter through the narrow door,” warning that many will try, yet not succeed. There will come a time when the door is shut, and those left outside will knock and plead, only to hear, “I don’t know you…depart from me.”
Jesus also described Himself as the Good Shepherd and declared, “I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved” (John 10:9). This is the hope we hold onto—there is a door, and it is open. That door is Jesus. And who can enter? Anyone who puts their faith and trust in Him. Those who do will not be left outside, but welcomed in.
Jesus’ way is perfect, eternal, and filled with truth, wisdom, and love. His path doesn’t lead to destruction—it leads to everlasting life. But there is another path—the wide gate. It’s appealing, easy, and inviting. It offers temporary satisfaction and endless options, shaped by personal desires, opinions, and lifestyles. Many walk that road because it demands little and promises much—but it cannot deliver eternal life.
The choice is ours. We must decide which gate we will walk through. Will we cling to His Word and deny our flesh? Or will we follow our own desires and step onto the broad path?
Jesus calls us to choose the narrow gate—to choose Him.
There is only one way to eternal life, and that is through Jesus Christ, the Son of God. He alone is our righteousness and our Savior. To enter this narrow way, we must turn from our old life, lay down our love for sin and the things of this world, and fully trust in Him as our salvation.
The door is before you. Choose wisely.
