I have extensive experience working with gifted children, having served as both an aide and a leader at two large churches. I also held a leadership position with I-9 Sports, a weekend program where parents bring their children to participate in seasonal sports. Additionally, I was part of the Tim Tebow Foundation’s Night to Shine event, an experience that left a lasting impact on me. I am passionate about recognizing the unique purpose that every gifted child and adult carries, firmly believing that God has placed each of us here for a reason. While we may differ in many ways, we are all united by His presence within us. I am deeply committed to fostering an environment where gifted children feel accepted and valued, free from judgment. Everyone deserves love, respect, and equal treatment because each person matters just as much as anyone else. They're God's children!
Each of us is wonderfully unique, yet in God’s eyes, we are all equal. Through the Gifted Needs Children’s Ministry, my mission is to create something entirely new—a ministry unlike any other. My goal is to share God’s word with every gifted child, helping them grow in understanding, faith, and the love of Jesus. I am dedicated to preaching, praying, and teaching in ways that truly resonate with these children, speaking in a language they can fully grasp. If Jesus healed the blind, raised the dead, and cleansed the lepers, I firmly believe He can work through me to help gifted children flourish in their faith.
My heart is filled with joy at the thought of supporting these incredible children, and I am committed to guiding them every step of the way. This ministry is designed to provide families with deep, meaningful support that extends far beyond words. Gifted children hold a special place in my heart. Life teaches us through lessons, seasons, and purpose, and being different in any way never diminishes a child’s worth. These children are God’s own, fully capable of achieving amazing things. In a world that can be harsh and judgmental, no child should be defined or devalued by a disability. Instead, we are called to listen, learn, and seek God’s wisdom.
Gifted children are not “odd” or “awkward”—they are God’s beloved children, each with unique gifts and a divine purpose. My vision is to create a safe, loving space where these children can gather to learn Biblical truths, build friendships, and grow in a nurturing community. I pray this ministry becomes a vital resource for parents of gifted children, offering both spiritual and practical support. With experience working with children in various church settings, I am eager to bring that knowledge and passion to this new and meaningful journey.
Take a moment to imagine life through the eyes of a gifted child. Their path may be different, but it is just as significant and full of purpose. There is no God like ours, and He has created every gifted child with intentionality and love. Our words and actions matter deeply, and we must treat others with compassion and grace, knowing we are held to the same standard. God is the foundation of everything, and I am living proof of His grace. Becoming a pastor for children with special needs has been my lifelong dream, and I am incredibly grateful to see that dream coming to life. Being gifted or different in any way never lessens one's purpose. Don’t let discouraging voices hold you back—focus on those who inspire and uplift you toward your calling. God has a remarkable plan for your life, just as He does for mine.
Working with children with intellectual and developmental disabilities has always been my passion and joy. No matter the challenges or differences, you are valued—by me, by God, and by the church.
Children’s Ministry for the Gifted: You Are God’s Precious Child
No matter what anyone says, you are a beloved child of God! Words have the power to unlock life’s blessings. Life is often filled with judgment, but Jesus calls us to rise above that. He teaches us that the measure we use to judge others will be applied to us in return.
Matthew 7:1-5 NLT
Luke 6:37-47 NLT
Luke 6:31-36 NLT
In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus said:
“Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” (Matthew 7:1-2)
Does your child have exceptional needs or unique gifts? Whether they excel academically, creatively, or in other areas, know that they are cherished and cared for by God. Many children with disabilities or extraordinary talents are often overlooked, but this ministry is here to change that.
I envision a church program where gifted children can actively participate, volunteer, and contribute to the church community a few hours each week. This is only the beginning of what I hope to achieve. Together, we can foster a supportive environment where these remarkable children and their families can truly thrive.
God has a plan for everyone, and His gifted children are called to fulfill a unique and beautiful purpose. Let’s come together to help them discover and embrace that divine calling!
